Organic Chickpeas

A small chickpea with great flavour, thin and smooth skin, pale straw-yellow colour, very high digestibility and very versatile in the kitchen. Delicate but lingering flavour, cooking time of 40/50 minutes after the usual soaking (12 hours, no less), rich in plant protein, fibre, minerals and vitamins (B). In the kitchen it suits every recipe, from the simplest salads to soups, including Eastern-style dishes such as hummus or falafel. If baked a few minutes after being boiled, it turns into a low-calorie protein snack for your movie nights or a tasty, crunchy aperitif. If kept intact, the packaging protects the product from insects and damp air that could alter its properties. Once opened, transfer the contents to an airtight container or, if you have the equipment at home, vacuum-seal it.
